In 2022, observing the rising demand for iron and steel consumption in India, GKN expanded its services to include the import of non-ferrous metal scrap and its distribution within the domestic market. We are now operational in Gandhidham-Kutch. Additionally, we have partnered with IPL Tech Electric, a subsidiary of the Murugappa Group, to establish the first commercial EV charging station in Bhachau-Kutch.
The current geograpnic diversification activity is a manifestation of our core strength in steel making and our progressive stance towards alternative energy solutions.
